Born on 1st March 1909 in Exning (Newmarket Q2-1909 3B:473), son of Herbert Thomas and Sarah Elizabeth FULLER (née COLLEN). 1911 census...Aged 2 he was at Russell Villas, Oxford Street, Exning with his father Herbert Thomas FULLER [34] wheelwright/carpenter born Isleham; his mother Sarah Elizabeth[34] born Isleham and brother Herbert John [5] born Exning. Admitted to Exning Board School 3rd March 1913 when living at Oxford Street, Exning. Transferred out on 3rd April 1916. In 1928 (age 19) he is on the register of the Amalgamated Society of Woodworkers in Watford, but transferred to the Newmarket branch. Married in Ashby de la Zouch (Q3-1934 7a:341)to Janet Mildred GOULD.
